BE A PART OF TEAM EVERMORE
Being an Owner
How can you be part of the winning team?
Equestrian Sport involves a wide array of skills, abilities and talents, but above all, people are the most important resource. There are many roles in Eventing: Rider, Groom, Vet, Farrier, Coach, Barn Manager, Photographer, Public Relations / Social Media, Working Student, Owner, Syndicate Member and the list goes on.
Many of these roles require part time or full time dedication, and often a lifestyle commitment that contours the working hours, traveling, expertise and financial responsibilities of a professional equestrian. The vast majority of us who love horses, riding, the thrill of competition, and eventing can only dream of riding at the Olympics or the World Equestrian Games; realistically only the top 1% of equestrians become 5-star riders at the professional level. Winning riders are supported by winning teams, and ride exceptional mounts, developed through practice and challenged through competition. There is a segment of the Team that gives the opportunity for deeply significant contribution to the horse and rider without the necessity for a lifestyle that conforms to the strict hands-on work that it required to produce a winning pair. Syndication is a system where a group of people interested in equestrian sport support a horse & rider team through the purchase of a share of the team each year. Becoming a syndicate member is a way to financially support an event rider & horse, and makes you a stakeholder, team member, and owner.
As an owner, you can participate in several horses’ futures in a really integral way, and watch them grow and flourish through the seasons. Owners share a bond with their team members and other owners through love of the sport, but the freedom to have a full lifestyle external to equestrian sport. Owners are able to share the enjoyment of the journey, watch their rider and horses mature and progress, and know they have directly supported the preparation and performance of the Team through practice and execution of competitive eventing. People are our most important resource; we need many different skills, background and experiences to make our Team work and win. Tell us your story and how you can help; contact us for information regarding ownership or syndication. We challenge you to join us on this journey of exceptional sporting skill: speed, agility, athleticism, precision, beauty: eventing.
