SARA'S STORY
Sara has a lifelong relationship with horses, starting at the age of four at her local barn in Franklin Township, New Jersey. Sara grew up riding Off The Track Thoroughbreds, school horses and homebred ponies, building horsemanship and competition experience in various disciplines including Western, Dressage, Hunters and Jumpers. Sara’s commitment to an equestrian career was evident when she selected Delaware Valley University in Doylestown, Pa., to pursue a degree in Equine Studies. Sara spent her time at DelVal as Hunt Seat Team Captain and also rode on the Dressage and Western teams, competing in the International Horse Show Association National Championships. She spent her Junior summer as an intern in Oklahoma with world champion Working Cow & Horse trainer, Todd Crawford. Sara earned her Bachelors of Science in Equine Studies in 2010, graduating a semester early to work for Boyd Martin and the Windurra Team in Cochranville, PA. Sara developed her passion for the sport while training with Boyd. Boyd recognized Sara’s potential and recommended that she consider buying Polaris in 2011. It was love at first sight and touch for Sara when she saw and jumped on the dappled grey, 17.2 hand, Irish Sport Horse gelding, affectionately referred to as “Larry”. Sara and Polaris rose from the Beginner levels all the way to the top of the sport in just seven years.
After training with Boyd for three years, Sara made the bold move to go out on her own and created Evermore Eventing. It originated in Salem County, New Jersey, and currently is located in Glenmoore, Pa in the spring and summer and Southern Pines in the fall and winter. Sara also travels frequently to teach clinics.
Sara is a passionate, knowledgeable, caring, enthusiastic Eventing professional and trainer. Her competition goals are to continue to improve her performances in the Kentucky 5* event and compete in Europe. Her professional goals are to provide aspiring Eventers the training they need to become the best riders they can be, whatever their goals.
